Over the years, we have witnessed an increase in women leaders at all levels of society but most importantly an increase in the quality of leadership. It is no secret that women have brought excellence to the leadership of this Nation. Ask yourself though, how many of us take on more than we should? It’s problematic when we spread ourselves too thin because it prevents us from performing at our best. When this occurs, excellence gets moved down the priority list, reducing our momentum.
By definition, Excellence is an attitude or a habit of constantly striving to be better and to make the most out of life. It is a good way of self-growth. During the journey, you’re committed to quality in all aspects of life, from the classroom to the workplace and beyond. It’s about taking a proactive approach to learning and development, setting high standards for yourself, and having an ethical mindset that ensures you’re doing what is right and necessary to reach success. In this edition, we continue to draw inspiration from different exceptional women as we learn how they strive for excellence in the different aspects of
their lives.
